The Think Tank consists of a FOREST EUROPE expert group composed of member state delegates, observers and experts, that will revisit SFM and its instruments. The first meeting concentrated on the role of SFM in the current policy debate, its relation to other forest-related concepts, and the development needs of the SFM concept for the future. The 4th meeting focused on the extent to which the SFM concept is still valid and has a proper framework, as well as presented the potential pathways of forest biodiversity indicators.
